A revamped Mediterranean restaurant in beautiful St. Pete Beach is seeking a long term, motivated and creative Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen. This is a unique opportunity for a culinary professional who wants to make their mark and showcase their passion for fresh, authentic cuisine.
What We’re Looking For:
A driven, innovative chef with a background in Mediterranean, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Turkish, or French cuisine (preferred)
Expertise in seafood, pasta, and fresh seasonal ingredients
Ability to create vibrant, flavorful dishes that highlight Mediterranean traditions with a modern touch
Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a professional kitchen team
A commitment to consistency, quality, and culinary excellence
Someone who understands the importance of cleanliness and food safety as a cornerstone of kitchen operations
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef
Hands-on knowledge of Mediterranean cooking techniques and flavors
Passion for seafood and coastal dining
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to exercise strong portion control, along with costing and pricing each menu item to maintain profitability
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to customize the kitchen for efficiency, productivity, and ease of access
Strong focus on quality control and maintaining high culinary standards
Possesses a valid Florida Food Handler’s Card (or ability to obtain one promptly)
